Poem by Matisha, from The EmbraceWe Come from the House of Love

When You Are Here I Sing

Since your appearance, our embrace,
these moments, all song has taken on the quiver,
ripples of love's quickening through us.

When you are here I sing.
When you are not here, I sing,
same tune different tone.
This calling carries me through.

I have surrounded myself with everything beautiful
that I could find, to remind me, to keep me immersed,
fill me with the feeling of union.

Feeling grows into being
